The Southeastern Conference is looking to release its final version of it’s new media policy.
We hope they ease up a bit on the final policy, because… In short it’s looking to ban social media usage at all SEC games
That means no twitter, facebook, youtube, twitpic or any other service that would compete with authorized media coverage of the event.
We understand that the SEC wants to protect it’s CBS contract, but how is this enforceable? We think you are shooting yourself in the foot by censoring the most important people – your fans!
Social media & the fans are really only spurring on the interest & good memories for the games! We’re shaking our heads on this one, what do you think? Comment below & let us know.
