iPhone Now #1 Camera on Flickr

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Picture 150The iphone has dethroned high resolution canon & nikon cameras to take the top spot as the most popular camera on flickr.

For the longest time the top spot went to the Canon Digital Rebel.
So does this mean people don’t like high resolution photos?

Picture 152I don’t think so, I think it just shows that we’re in an ever increasing mobile world & with the iphone you always have a camera in your pocket to take that split second shot.

It is also easy to upload directly from your phone to flickr.

iphones are easy to snap shots with, but my heart has a soft spot for a well composted high res photo. What do you think? Comment below with What camera you use to take most of your photo’s?

Flickr search = Awesome! New search makes it easier than ever to find photos

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009
Flickr search = Awesome!

Flickr search = Awesome!

Flickr’s new search now makes it easier than ever to find photo without ever leaving the search results page. Search for photos and you will see an array of thumbnails, mouse over and you will notice an information icon; click on the icon to see all the details about the photo without having to actually click on the photo.

Pretty cool if you ask us.
