Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

webcycleFeel the Burn! Two techie Brits, Matt Gray & Tom Scott,  may have just given the wii-fit a run for it money. Their invention the webcycle , a rigged exercise bike, allows you to lose weight while browsing the Internet. The bike combines peddle power to determine how fast your internet connection will be. Not much peddle power is required to read text, however if streaming youtube video, you may have to break a sweat. So, internet addicts no need to pry your eyes from the computer screen or your fingers from the keys, surf the net & get fit at the same time. Click the  video to see the webcycle in action. Have we just been rickrolled!

Say “Cheese”: Picture Perfect In One Click

Monday, August 10th, 2009

PicTreat-logo “I’m ready for my close up Mr. Deville”. We all love to have picture perfect head shots. But sometimes blemishes, red eyes, and poor lightening gets in the way. Now there is a new photo editing tool that works magic on faces, the celebrities do it. With Pictreat.com you have automated online facial retouching in one click. What’s neat is that you can correct existing photos in your Facebook, MySpace & Flickr accounts. You can upload photos or use PicTreats url for editing. Don’t worry the original photo is saved. If you love what you see you can save it to your computer, share the image URL, grab the embed code, or crop it as a profile pic for Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, or MySpace. With Pictreat you never again have to be afraid to say “Cheese”.
